New Accomplishments and Pictures!

It has been so amazing watching Elise grow up right before our eyes and to experience all of the changes that take place, especially at this age! Elise has been on a roll lately, doing something new practically everyday. She has become a pro at clapping her hands, giving high-fives, puckering her lips like she's giving kisses, and standing un-assisted for about 10 seconds at a time. She has also gotten very good at imitating us. If I sniff my nose, she will too. If I clear my throat, she will too. It's adorable and makes us laugh everytime! We've realized how much she loves to see us smile and laugh, and how playful she is! I absolutely love seeing her personality develop!

Hope you enjoy some new pictures!

I caught her waving here:

Playing with some toys:

Her hair is finally long enough for barrettes!

Love the close-ups!

Playing with a cell phone - looks like she's sending a text message! ;)

Finally, one more tooth just appeared yesterday - she now has a total of 7! So exciting!!

9 Month Old Stats!

Yesterday was Elise's 9 month well-visit and it went great! She only had to get one shot, which was good, but this time she didn't scream after the needle-prick...she whimpered! It was the saddest thing I have ever seen and we felt SO bad for her. By the time we got back to the car to leave, she was as good as new! :) She is now 30.5 inches long (off-the-charts!) and almost 21 pounds, 75th percentile.

Here are some pictures from Elise's 9 month photo shoot:

Happy, Happy Birthday, Baby!

Elise is 9 months old today - three months away from being one year! WOW! I can honestly say that the time just keeps getting better and better. Her personality is really starting to shine and she is such a sweetheart. She loves being out and about, she loves being with people and smiling, and is even a little bit nosey! She's getting at least one more tooth that we know of, climbing the entire flight of stairs, playing peek-a-boo and becoming such a little cuddler - which of course, we LOVE! Her well-visit is in a couple weeks so I'm looking forward to finding out her height and weight. From what we can tell by the rest of the kids in her Gymboree classes, she's still on the taller side! :)

She got into a box of business cards:

If you look closely, you can see all four teeth!

Posing for the camera!

Till next time!
